'Heads take out Whitehall in four Saturday
WHITEHALL — Led by the 12 kills, 15 digs and nine aces by senior Johanna Forsberg, the Copperheads took down 5B rival Whitehall 22-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-10 Saturday afternoon.
The Copperheads recorded 40 kills in the win led by Forsberg and six apiece from sophomore Claire Miller and senior Kelsie Oxnam. Seniors Sydnie Peterson and Carley Fink recorded 23 and 13 assists, respectively, and Oxnam’s 17 digs led the ‘Heads defensively.
Anaconda also record a season-high 25 aces led by Forsberg, Peterson with six and Oxnam’s five.
The Copperheads are back in town Tuesday to host former Southwestern A rival Dillon at approximately 7 p.m. at Memorial Gymnasium.
